The Company

The journey of Thombre – Insurance & Investment Services began on February 10th 2003. Imparting total financial consultancy under one roof was the motto. We offer financial consultancy to individuals, families, companies, organisations etc. The scope of consultancy is determined as per the need of the customer.

For individuals and families, the insurance solutions consist planning of life insurance, health insurance, personal accident, cancer cover etc. The investment needs like child education, marriage, higher education, retirement, wealth creation, domestic / foreign travel, purchase of car, home other assets etc. can be fulfilled by taking help of various types of mutual fund products

We also offer consultancy on housing loan and capital gain bonds.

For companies / organisations there are a bouquet of services like group life insurance, group mediclaim, group personal accident, insurance cover for company vehicles, fire, burglary, labour insurance, marine insurance, asset insurance, director’s indemnity etc.

While planning we ensure that benefits are availed by the investor under various tax saving options like 80C, 80D etc. as per the government’s prevailing guidelines.

We not only draw a financial plan for an investor but also take the responsibility of executing it, reviewing it regularly and providing after sales service too.

The People

Abhay is the Managing Director of Thombre – Insurance & Investment Services. His responsibilities include meeting & studying the requirements of the customers, imparting consultancy by suggesting the right personalised plan, ensuring proper execution of the plan, monitoring and reviewing it periodically. He also looks after the implementation of the latest technology to improve the customer services.

His education gives him a unique techno-commercial advantage. He is a graduate in Electronics Engineering and has a post graduate degree in Master of Management Sciences with Marketing as specialization, both from University of Pune. This makes him a very able person to understand the requirements of the customer and suggest a suitable product as per the needs of the customer.

He has ten years of working experience in the corporate world prior to becoming an Insurance & Investment service provider. The responsibilities handled by him were in business promotion. The additional duties performed by him were in the area of recruitment, training, performance evaluation & product launch.

He has travelled across the country & has a unique skill of people interaction across the cultures.

As a President – Operations, Manisha is in a very important role. She is the backbone of Thombre – Insurance & Investment Services and ensures smooth functioning of the day to day & back end activities like reminders, timely renewals of policies, payment collections, claim settlements, delivery of policy certificates & mutual fund statements, payment receipts etc. To assist her she has a team of professionals. Manisha is a commerce graduate and is a Master of Personnel Management, from University of Pune. Prior to joining Thombre – Insurance & Investment Services she was Branch Head – Pune, for a pre-printed stationary manufacturing company.

Thombre – Insurance & Investment Services have delighted many customers by carrying out a large number of claim settlements under various types of insurance policies in last so many years.

Tejal Abhay Thombre is the fresh talent on board now. Tejal, daughter of Abhay & Manisha is a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mira’s College Pune, with Economics as her specialization. She always wanted to be a part of our services from a very young age. Having decided at an early age about her career she was moulded & brought up accordingly.

Taking an active interest right from her college days, she has come a long way by 2021. Today she has good level of understanding about the overall functioning of the business.

Tejal has undergone rigorous & extensive training from Life Insurance, General Insurance & Mutual Fund companies in the past three years. She holds a license for General Insurance business and accompanies Abhay & Manisha during various client meetings. She is taking an active part in the day-to-day activities.
